Korea House — Seoul, Korea — March 25th, 2004
This page was for people interested in coming to our wedding. We're married now! For videos and pictures from the wedding at Korea House, go here.

Where?
In Seoul, north-east Asia. It's near Beijing (45 minutes' flight) and Japan (90 minutes):

Flight times from Korea to the Asian tourist destinations popular in Europe are long. (Thailand is 5½ hours' flight.) However, Japan and north-east China are both close enough for a short trip. The time in this part of Asia is nine hours ahead of the UK.
How to get there
Five airlines fly from Europe to Korea. Korean Air and Asiana fly from Heathrow direct to Seoul. KLM flies via Schipol, Lufthansa via Frankfurt and Air France operates a codeshare via Paris. The long-haul part of the flight from Europe takes 11 hours outbound and 12 hours return.

For tickets from the UK to Korea without legs to other places, by far the cheapest sources are the Korean-speaking travel agents in New Malden, south-west London. Prices are usually around £480 for tickets bought a month or two in advance. Get in touch if we can help you with this.
The venue
It's at Korea House in the Chungmuro district of Seoul. If you have an up-to-date computer then their video may appear on the right -- just click the play button.
Weather
Winter ends in mid to late March in Korea, but the snow has usually cleared by the end of March and average temparates rise from sub-zero to a more pleasant 6°C. There is usually little precipitation in March, but if there is then it'll be snow. It's usually very sunny.
