In Seoul

Well, I'm here in Korea. We're staying in Jungwon's parents' place the first night and they don't currently have broadband here... but I've been able to get online by connecting wirelessly to a very weak signal from one of the neighbours!

It's half past ten though and my connection just went dead so maybe the neighbours have gone to bed. No, wait, it's back again.

Bex just asked what the weather's like: it's about zero degrees right now (just coming up to midnight) and it's going to be 4 degrees during the day all week according to the forecast. But it's clear and crisp like a beautiful autumnal day in England. Right now, it feels great to have escaped from the murk of London but the idea of spending such a long time here is only just sinking in.
